You have to defeat Director D in his flying control chamber. To do this, use the grapple bowtie to get on top of his machine, or up near the ceiling. When he tries to smash you, he will damage the machine. Important Note : If the mini-bots or Director D stop moving, you will need to re-start your browser, and repeat the B.A.D. hideout. The game has a bad tendency to freeze up.

The mini-bots and Director D may occasionally "freeze up" on Spy Island. This is a programming problem and if it lasts more than a minute, you must refresh the game. This will set you back a little ways, but should keep all your items.

Normally when you defeat the mini-bots and Director D, the game returns you to the Spy Headquarters for your Island Medallion. However, there is a bad glitch which can halt the program when you are battling the mini-bots or Director D. They will just "freeze up" instead of chasing you. The only way to fix this is to reboot your browser, which means you have to beat the lasers again in the hideout sequence. (see related question)
