If the rotor of the 2001 Honda Accord will does not have mounting hardware it is pressed on. To remove these types of rotors the caliper will have to be unmounted. The rotor will then come off.
Those rotors are pressed on at the factory, they must be cut off and also you will need to replace the wheell bearings. Buy new rotors and wheel bearings (whole hub) approx. $84.00 each. Had mines done by acura dealership paid $ 570.00 you probably could get it done cheaper.
You can take them off at home.
pretty sure that all sunfires have drums in the back and not rotors
You remove the brake caliper, at this point, the rotor will come off.
u gotta take cover off and the backseats to get to them
i dont kno if it makes a difference but on my stratus sedan all i did was take the caliper off and the rotor slides right off. if it doesnt slide off and the rotors grooved just beat it with a hammer at the top and botttom and it should wiggle off.
take off calipers and pull the rotors off the hub
After the tires and calipers are off take a big hammer and let out some frustrations. Make sure you turn the rotor a little each time you hit it.
