Professor Hammerhead's journal (in the Shark museum) had the translation key for the hieroglyphics. But that page is missing. You will find it on top of the ruins. You have to spell the word "open" in hieroglyphics.

The translation page (the one missing from Professor Hammerhead's journal) is on top of the ancient ruins. Push the big block to the right and climb the vine, then jump left from the wooden platform. Spell "OPEN" on the teeth by pressing the 4 symbols for O, P, E, and N, then the nose.

Professor Hammerhead has become the victim of the giant shark Booga, which he was studying as part of the island legends. He is trapped on an island in Booga Bay. His journal is in the Shark Museum, but it is missing a page. The page is on top of the ruins, and reveals the meaning of the ancient hieroglyphic symbols.
It is a sandy, touristy island with ancient ruins and one very nasty shark.

On Shark Tooth Island, the code to the locked door in the ruins is on the missing journal page (on top of the outside ruins). You must spell "open" in the ancient symbols, which are the 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 7th symbols counting from the left.
