At home it is best to do this one wheel at a time. I assume you mean just the tire and the rim, and not the rotor itself. It is very simple. You need a jack, and a tire iron. Put the jack underneath the car and raise it until there is just enough pressure to start raising the tire, but the car's weight is still compressing it down to the ground. Now start loosening the lug nuts with the tire iron. Once they are all loosened to the point where you could take them off by hand, raise the car up so that the tire is off the ground and remove the wheel. Putting the wheel back on, you need to first hand-tighten each lug just enough to hold it in place, and then lower the car back down. tighten the lugs tightly with the iron in a diagnal pattern. Start on one lug, then cross the tire to the next one, and so on and so forth, until they are all as tight as can be. If you need to remove the rotor you need to get the brake housing (caliper) off as well. if the wheel seems bonded to the rotor, and it will not come off no matter how you tug on it, even with the lugs off, try lowering the car back onto the wheel (with the lugs not even hand-tightened, but still there to make sure the tire can't fall off) and turning the steering wheel....the pressure should jar the wheel loose. Be careful, though, and once it moves get out of your car and raise the jack againto take the weight off immediately. Then you can just take it off by hand. enjoy!
On a 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis : The electric fuel pump is INSIDE the fuel tank
The engine in a 1993 grand marquis is a 4.6 litre/281 cubic inch.
Try Autozone.com - they very likely have an on-line illustrated repair guide for the '93 Grand Marquis.
My 93 Mercury's windows are off track. They stay on track until I manually push them up and they go off track. I have been told that you have to drill out the rivets that keep the window on track, adjust them, then replace the rivets with a bolt and nut.Could this be right?John
P215/70R15 for 93 and i think for a 00 P225/60TR17
maybe it sensed that it wasnt as dark as it was an hour ago, there are two ways to turn your head lights on in a mercury grand marquis, at least my 92-93. you can pull the headlight switch which makes them stay on, or you can turn the small nob button to your right to do the light sense headlights. hope this helpsAnswerOverload in system? Circuit breaker cycling?
There could be many reasons why the 1993 Grand Marquis make noises when the doors lock. The wiring could be off, or the motor could be going out.
take front wheels off and go through fender wells
I get about 21 mpg to my 93 mercury tracer it has 83,000 miles.

Let the handy man at it,
The reset button on the fuel pump inertia switch should be DOWN ( if the button has popped up , then no power is going to the electric fuel pump )
