When you jump out of the plane look for the GREEN smoke and land on it.
You have to land right on the green flares. If you do, you get wings.
You find the notebook and get the wings and fly
first...get the glider wings then use them to get to peace medal
The peace medal is located under the wood deck where the the pulley thing is. you need to return the note book to Davinci and then he will give you glider wings. take the glider wings and put them on. Then go over to the wood deck and where the gap is, jump but not straight down, jump straight across. that is where the peace medal is located. you get by jumping over
Steve Yzerman and Brendan Shanahan
I found in my late grandfather's belongings a medal of this description, his name was John N. Oliver, he was in the 726th squadron in italy. If you find anything out about this please let me know. trey.mouch@gmail.com
The centre medal is for the Kalidor Crescent. I believe the only way you can get this is by accumulating enough bonus points (You CANNOT earn these if you have "Tour Collisions: Off"; "Tour Invulnerability: On"; or "Tour Infinite Ammo: On" selected in your General Options). Not sure on the totals but I remember reading somewhere that it is 3500 bonus points per level and 21'000 bonus points for the full medal with all the trimmings as there are 6 levels of the medal which are: The Medal itself; Bronze Cluster; Silver Talons; Silver Scimitar; Golden Wings; Diamond Eyes.Hope it helps. - 'Xenomeister'
There are approximately 50 Navy and Marine Corps officers (the Navy MOH is awarded to both Navy and Marines Corps members) who have been awarded the Navy MOH since 1861. The most recent Naval officer to receive the MOH was Navy SEAL Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in action during Operation Red Wings in Afghanistan. He was posthumously awarded the MOH in 2007. The list of all Navy and Marine Corps officers who have been awarded the Medal of Honor is at the link below.
When you jump up wearing the wings, you do not fall back to ground as quickly. This allows you to glide sideways for a longer distance after jumping up, or from a height. The Viking Suit is at the Viking Island in 831 AD (2 o'clock on the time device). By going to the right edge of the ledge by the cave, you can jump up and glide over to the tall rock at the right. The wings also make it very easy to get the Peace Medal which is under the bridge at Leonardo's time (1516 AD). But it is not that difficult without them.
You will find the peace medal near Leonardo Da Vinci's workshop in 1516 AD (4 oc'clock on the time device). It is below the hole in the "bridge" made of wooden platforms. If you climb the platform, up and then up again to the left, a small platform will be lowered into the gap in the bridge. You can jump hard right from it to reach the Peace Medal under the right side of the hole. It is easier to get if you use Leonardo's glider wings: to get them, recover Leonardo's notebook from the Statue of Liberty (1882 AD) by climbing to the top of the left side, and jumping left onto the ledge there. Return it to 1516 AD and use the glider wings to reach the medal.
Actouly i don't know but i do no a cheat that's handy. But if im wrong sorry (i haven't played the awesome game since i was like 6) but when your cars wings are out and your airborn press start. then release. Your car should zoom across faster resolving in beeting that awesome car next to you.
The glider wings let you extend your jumps by slowing your rate of fall. They can be used to get the Peace Medal at 1516 AD and the (not required) Viking armor at 831 AD. (see related question)
