I'd try flying, But I've never tried it or attempted it, YET. Prob due to the fact that its a phased zone, I think that the only time you'll get to see it is the starting zone.

Why does Deathwing destroy the Goblin Isle of Kezan?
Deathwing has destroyed most of Azeroth to vent his rage and pain after his long imprisonment in Grim Batol. Kezan, along with much else, is merely destroyed in passage and not targeted for a specific reason other than this.
What is the storyline for World of Warcraft Cataclysm?
Deathwing has been released from his long imprisonment, and has laid waste to the world of Azeroth. In the upheaval, many changes occur in the societies of its people, as they try to cope with the changed world. The Elemental Lords break their imprisonment and begin to exert their influence while whispers abound of another Old God, the corruptor of the Emeral Dream, who might be responsible for this. In the meanwhile, the Cataclysm has robbed the Goblins of Kezan of their homes, and they now seek refuge with the Horde. The feral Worgen, infected citizens of Gilneas, rally to the side of the Alliance as their home is under attack by the Forsaken. And in the end, Deathwing looms. One day he must be destroyed to prevent his predations from shattering the world even further...
Why did the Goblins join the Horde on WOW?
The Goblins that joined the horde joined because when they were fleeing there homeland of Kezan after Deathwing attacked it and caused the volcano to destroy the island, the alliance was in battle with a horde ship. The Human Captain had orders to destroy all ships in the area and leave no witnesses. So they attacked the ship the goblins were fleeing on. After the ship was sunk the survivors went to the near by islands called the Lost Isles. There the Goblin survivors found horde and alliance battling. Since the alliance attacked them at sea the Goblins found the horde camp and asked for help from the horde. In return the Goblins helped them defeat the alliance and rescue Thrall from the alliance who captured him. After this Thrall gave the Goblins a token to give to Grommash Hellscream in Org. And this is how they joined the Horde
