Im not sure about the previous answer but for the ps2 and Wii i know you simply go to deep jungle, then one of the entrances/exits with two boulders next to it is shipwreck lagoon, im not sure which one though.
Also once you have traveled to a place, you can immediately transport there by going into the start menu, then island map, then click on where you want to go, you can only transport to places you've already been.
