In the second region that you land in (Awakening Wood), you have to get the white Pikmin from the White Flower Garden. Once you get out of the cave, you must go to where the previous cave (Hole of Beasts) was. If you go in the opposite direction, there will be a gate with two poison gas vents guarding it. Therefore, you must use your white Pikmin to break down the gate. On the other side, there is a Creeping Chrysanthenum. After you kill it, you will find the other half of the globe from Emergence Cave. It takes the equivalent of 101 Pikmin to carry it, so you will need at least one purple Pikmin. A recommendation is having Super Spicy Sprays ready, since the globe takes a long time to carry. You will also want to build the bridge, which will make the process of carrying the globe much faster. Once the globe is taken in by the Ship, it will say that a new area has been discovered. After the day ends, on the world map, you should see a new area be charted on the map. That is the Perplexing Pool.

∙ 13y agoYou must first throw all your Pikmin up onto the ledge except one. Then put Olimar or Louie on the scales and throw the last Pikmin onto the other side. You should rise up and be able to collect your Pikmin and move on.
The other captain can then throw up the last Pikmin or try to perform a trick which allows the scales to go up and the Pikmin to also go up by calling the Pikmin while it hits the other scale the captain isn't on.

Where do you find more yellow pikmin on the game pikmin 2?
You can find them in the Perplexing pool level (so make sure you have it open). Once you enter the level, you will be shown a scene that shows you where they are. To open the Perplexing pool level you also need a half globe in awakening wood.

The easiest way to get white and purple Pikmin is to go into easy caves, find the Candypop Buds and transform Pikmin, then get out. Keep in mind that Candypop Buds do not reappear in the same day after leaving a cavern. Emergence Cave in the Valley of Repose is best for purple Pikmin, and the White Flower Garden in the Awakening Wood is best for whites. Relatively easy caverns that can be used to get white and purple Pikmin are the Snagret Hole in the Valley of Repose and the Citadel of Spiders in the Perplexing Pool.
Do you have to complete the Pikmin 2 story before you can play with two players?
No, you do not. To access the Challenge Mode, collect the key from the final floor of the Citadel of Spiders cave int he Perplexing Pool. Other than that, you can always play with two players in a basic one-on-one battle.

It is not possible to have more than 100 Pikmin in the field at once, so you will need at least one purple Pikmin to carry them, because purple Pikmin count as 10 Pikmin when carrying objects.
