You're probably trying to get to the evaporator, which is located in the HVAC compartment under the dash, by the passenger side door. This will contain the evaporator, heater core, and blower fan. Before opening up an AC system, you need to have the refrigerant recovered and stored - releasing it into the atmosphere is illegal and poses significant risk to the person doing it. Also, whenever you open up an AC system, you must replace a component - I believe the Dodge Durango AC is a Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) system, which means you would have to replace the receiver-drier.
The reality of it is that servicing an AC system is not a "do-it-yourself" task, and I would discourage it being taken on as such.
No you have to replace it.
The 5.7L Hemi was not available in the Durango until 2004.
the ignition coil
passenger side up front next to alternator.
Eight, one for each cylinder.
16 Plugs, each coil 2 plugs
It is on the top of the valve cover.
Check all of the following............... 1. Freon levels. 2. A/C compressor clutch, coil and harness. 3. Pressure switch. 4. Control panel. 5. Sensors and relays.
This frequently happens when the heater coil is going bad.
Water? You have residue buildup on the condenser coil. There's a spray to alleviate that.
The 4.7L does not have a distributor, it has a coil on each plug.
There is no distributor on it. There is a coil pack, you can follow the spark plug wires to it.
