You have to talk to Rusl in Telma's bar in the Hyrule Castle Town, then he tells you to meet him. You have to go to where the first dungeon was in Faron Woods and he will be on a tree stump with a golden chicken next to him. Talk to him and he will tell you that you have to use the golden chicken to fly across the gap onto the ledge.
Then you just keep jumping ledges till you are there :)
