I dont think it really matters anymore because the riding levels are over
Its all about senority
The Riding Levels were removed in May 2011 and replaced with the objectives.

After 10 days, you have to go to your riding levels page then pass the test.

There is no job change when you pass Howrse riding level 3.
You cant pass any riding level early. For all levels you have to have so many days of connection.

When you pass the 6th riding level on howrse, you receive a Horn of Plenty.
You may get Horn Of Plenty(ies) on Howrse by finishing Riding Achievements, Riding Levels, and Riding Achievement Levels. You may find them floating around on the page, and if you click them, then you are lucky and have earnt a Horn Of Plenty(ies)! You can also buy them at the black market.

You have to wait a certain period of time and then you must pass the riding level test. To raise your riding level, you must have logged on a certain amount of days. For instance, for level 2, you must have logged on 10 days. Next, you must complete a series of questions, and get a specific percentage right. However, soon Howrse are going to remove the riding levels, and the gains will be decided by senority- the amount of days you've logged onto Howrse.
