How do you get to the spark plugs to change them on a 2000 Chevy Monte Carlo 3.4 V6 engine?

Just did this, so much easier to remove the ignition coil pack and reach over the motor than trying to "roll the motor" to get to them. I'd remove the black plastic thing holding a small tube to the intake manifold as well. Now you should be able to see them and access them pretty easily, just make sure you seat the wires well, because they may seem connected but cause misfires b/c they're not.
