you can't get untied you have to CAREFULLY slide ur chair to the other guy then he will untie you and you untie him.

If you are leaving the underground lair after being untied, you are going the wrong way. Go right, along with the shady guy, and slip past the Black Widow's guards to reach here treasure room. (see related question) After you beat the Widow, you exit up through a hole in the floor of the Web Browser Cafe, then return to the Museum to receive your Island Medallion.

To get past Black Widow's guards (after you get untied), go to the far left along the bottom. Climb up above the guard on the second level, and wait for the female guard on the third level to stop and turn. When she walks away, follow her, and jump onto the springy chair to reach the top level (where you use the keycard).
