There is actually a 'Recovery' column once an error occur in Microsoft Word but if it is because you had forgotten to save, then there would be no more solution except to redo.
Hi i have found the only disadvantage to which i can think off is if you do not save your work frequently and the program crashes there is a possiblity word will not recover your document and you will lose the work you had producted.i hope this was off any help.
