Lie on your back and pull your heel stretch. This is easier if you have someone to hold your standing leg steady. If you aren't to the point where you can hold it yourself, have someone push your leg up to you. After a while, your leg will get closer and you'll be able to hold it. Make sure you stretch both your side stretch (hip rotated out) and your front stretch (leg straight in front of you, do not rotate hip).
Stretch for your bow the same way. When your heel stretch is close enough for you to grab with your opposite hand, do so and pull!
Once you get better at both of those laying down, you can pull them standing.
Standing: lift your leg and have a friend grab it and pull it to your body. They then bear-hug you around your body and leg pulling your leg into your body.
**Stretch in the shower. Toward the end of your shower everyday bend down and touch your toes, or put your hands on the ground depending on you flexibility.
Pull your tows back towards you (keep leg straight). You should feel a stretch on the back of your heel.

A calf raise is an exercise for the calf muscle where someone raises their heel off the ground, to stretch the calf, and lowers it again.
You are actually stretching the gastrocnemius muscle from which the Achilles tendon comes from. The best stretch is to put you toes angled up towards a wall with your heel on the ground and to lean into the wall. You should feel a stretch up into your calf muscle (gastrocnemius) as well as in your Achilles.
The Achilles tendon connects the calf to the heel bone. Unless you stretch this tendon regularly, you may end up irritating it. Icing the injury and resting your foot will normally heal it.
The left heel was Achilles week heel.

Freeze a water bottle and roll it under you feet for 5 minutes at a time 4. Make sure you stretch out you feet before you step down upon waking up. 5. NO flip flops...no matter how hot it is outside. 6. Lose weight if you are very overweight.
