Generally, I find it helps if you tell them to stop. You've haven't given an indication of your age so I'll answer several times. 1. Schoolyard - Tell them to stop, and if they don't then tell a teacher. 2. High School - Tell them to leave you alone. If they don't get your friends together and make a smear campaign about the person. 3. Workplace - Tell them to stop, and if they don't then inform your boss. 4. City, etc. Tell them to stop and if they don't just walk into a tightly packed crowd. In any of these cases, it is possible that simply ignoring them will do the trick. If they can't see you get mad, it takes the pleasure away.

Perhaps you can talk about why he is behaving like he is.
If the behaviour continues, you need to leave him and find someone who treats you better.

∙ 11y ago1 thing you can do is just try to ignore it for about 1 or 2 days. If it still doesn't stop then you can tell the guy that you'll tell the teacher, after he hears you say that you'll tell the teacher he'll probably stop because he probably doesn't want to get in trouble. So ya, i have the same problem because like my best friend (that's a guy) keeps being mean to me I told him that and he said nothing.

∙ 13y agoIt really depends on how he is being mean to you. No matter what DO NEVER be violent towards a boy. If its not a huge problem but he is just being slightly mean, think of some witty comebacks or just ignore him and tell him 'Your talking rubbish' or 'Whatever'. If it has got serious tell a grown up.
