Any flea topical from the vet works great. Revolution, Frontline Plus, advantix (not to be used in homes with cats) or advantage.
I recently fostered a dog covered in lice. Non-zoonotic, I wasn't concerned about me or my home being infested. Lice live on their host only. She received flea baths every other day for 3 weeks. The flea shampoo (containing pyrethrins) was in a sink full of water like dish water. She was combed every day with a flea comb. Although the nits hatch after 10 days of being laid, who knows when they were laid which is why I gave a "dip" every other day.
It worked fine.
Prevention is key. So monthly topicals from the vet are best.
part of training a dog is to become the dogs leader or "pack leader" dogs are scavengers that run in packs. each pack has a "pack leader". you become the "pack leader" by telling the dog in a deep sturn voice "no" and look the dog in the eye when you tell him. if the dog is hyper and continues place the dog into a kennal until it calms down. it is important to train the dog basic commands like sit, and down. it becomes easy when the dog is jumping on you and you can look at the dog and in a deep stern voice say NO... DOWN. only use one word commands, not "damn it dog your pissing me off. go lay down" just "down"
i suggest any kind of hypo-allergenic powder or you can use dogspray which drives away fleas. Because fleas are the reason why dogs itch, i think. hope it works because it does on my dog. She is a chow-chow and her fur is absolutely thick.
You need to take your dog in to be checked out by your Veterinarian. That is the only way to do this properly for your dog's sake. Make sure you are feeding a good name brand of dog food & not some cheap generic food. Ingredients such as corn, wheat, soy, etc. can cause skin Allergies.
Depends on the type of mange. There are several common types. Consult your vet.
The first thing to note is that scabies for dogs should be treated by a vet. Wash the entire body of the dog with benzoyl peroxide shampoo (such as OxyDex or Pyoben).
Lethal injection
Canine Gastralox is the best over the counter medicine you can give your dog for diarrhea. They sell it on Amazon.com.
They could if they were cohabitating but they would not stay on the dog very long as goat lice prefer goats.
The best application method for applying dog medicine depends on the type of medication being administered, as well as the size and condition of the animal. For example, flea medicine can be given by putting a flea collar on or dropped directly in the fur at the back of the neck- however, some animals may need a "flea dip" bath. Treatments for some conditions may be topical ointments, drops, or pills that may need to be hidden in food to be administered.
The best way for me was mayo... put it in your hair your hair MUST be dry and leave it in you're hair for an hour and a half and then take it out with really hot water and then comb your hair with a lice comb (you can get them at drugstores) do this for the next 2-3 days until the lice is gone. good luck

No, its a different type of lice.
Dogs can not get lice.
no dogs can not get lice they can only get a different lice which is dog lice not head lice which humans get so basically no dogs can NOT get nits (lice)
No, but why would you?
Most treatments apply to all types of lice infestation and, particularly with head lice, treatments are an area of great controversy.
An alternative treatment for head lice is tea tree oil, sometimes called melaleuca oil. Tea tree oil appears to work well in treating head lice that have developed resistance to other preparations.
no they cant
lice safe
we can not be lice free by applying anti fungal or anti bacterial chemicals. The only way is to take appropriate homeopathic medicine so that lice may die automatically T he body atmospheres should be changed by taking .homeopathic medicine.

Call your doctor and ask for ulesfia. It is the best on the market right now because its the only medicine that asphyxiates lice. Make sure to retreat hair in 7 days as there is nothing that will kill lice eggs attached to hair. These must be removed with fine toothed comb. A steel come works best for removing nits, hands down.
no usually you have to buy a specail lice killing shampoo
