be nice to her and let her know that you are there for her and that you care. tell her how much you want her back,and tell her why you want her back and explain it to her. she may be in love with this new guy but you know that she cant let go of the memories. no one can. if she wats to start back up then do it but just don't force it cause if you do then you are most likely just pushing her away !

∙ 13y agoI think that sometimes a female/male leaves because they are confused or they just don't want to be in that relationship. If they date someone else there's nothing you can do about it, i have the same feeling inside me and i always try to figure something out.
If that person might want you back later on its considered a rebound. when something like this happens its looks to you as a happy moment but its actually to prove to him/her that you actually do still want to be with me.
Sometimes in situations like these I think that you would have 2 different thing going through you at once, but sometimes its best to go with your heart.At the same time keep your heart on lockdown because you just might get hurt only one thing you will get hurt even harder.
