Its because the palm along with the soles and scalp have a very high amount of sweat glands. Sweat glands may be activated by hormones such as adrenalin which is released when we feel nervous (the fight or flight responce). High temperatures also cause sweating.

∙ 12y agoIt depends on the extent of the sweating. I recommend going to a dermatologist to see what they have to say. They can prescribe a few medications to you that could help, but there is no cure for it yet. If you don't want to go to the dermatologist, you can get something called Certain Dri. It's made for underarms but works well on your hands too. (I've tried it myself) It's found at many stores such as Walmart, Walgreens, etc. and costs about $10 and lasts for up to a month.
