To be quite honest it all depends on if you have the room and time for a horse. They are huge responsibilities. Though most horses of a standard quarter horse breed aren't very expensive to buy (300-900) they take alot of time and investment into both their health and food supply. So before you try to get a horse make sure you have all the necessary things. Then you just need to prove that your responsible enough to take care of the horse.

How do you make your parents get you your own horse if they think your not ready?

You can't make your parents do anything. They must think you are not ready for a reason. Are your responsible? Do you take care of any animals you all ready have or let your parents do it? Do you follow directions? ( you can get hurt or killed on a horse if you don't follow directions). Horses are expensive and they are expensive to keep your parents may not be able to afford a horse. Instead of moaning and groaning about getting a horse show your parents you are old enough to take care of one by doing things around the house and talking to them.

It's not ethical or recommended to bribe your parents to get a horse. Instead, have an open and honest conversation with them about your desire for a horse, discuss the responsibilities involved, and see if you can come to a mutual agreement. Offer to help with chores or save up money to contribute to the cost of owning a horse.
