That would really depend on why it was taken away. If you know why, you know what you need to fix. Do what your parent asked you to do. When they see you are catching on, they will probably give it back. If you aren't really sure why it was taken away, the mature thing to do would be to go talk to your parents and ask them what their expectations are. If you do, be careful to listen and not throw in a lot of "But I..." type remarks. That will only annoy them more.
