How do you ghost jump in Halo 3?

Throw a grenade and jump right above it as it explodes. If you don't jump high enough, damages can range from a full shield depletion to death. Plasma grenades will not be as helpful as they stick to any object and do not produce much of an explosion as frags. Finally, do not ever use spike grenades as the spikes will get you.

Crouch jumping allows you to get to places that would otherwise be unreachable by just jumping.

You simply jump at the edge or pertruding point and do one of the following (the technique varies for the different types of ghost jumps)

1. jump at the point and hold crouch in the air, once you hit the jump uncrouch and hit the jump button at the same time and u should have, if done right, successfully ghost jumped.

2. jump and hit the point of the ghost and tap the jump button repeatedly until u successfully do the jump.

3. jump and hold crouch the whole time, but when you hit the jumping point, while still holding crouch tap the jump button repeatedly until you complete the ghost.

In Halo 2, you can perform a rocket jump if you activate a rocket launcher right after you jump. This trick also works with grenades.
