I would get a special glue its made for putting stuff on glass u can probanly find it at wallie world
Get some rear view mirror glue from target and glue the plate to the window. Make sure the tapered edge tapers into the window. If you glue it on wrong you can always buy another plate and glue that to the first but you will feel pretty stupid. Then slide the mirror on the plate.
It's a special glue at better auto parts stores. Flue the mount on first & let it fully dry before you hang the mirror, Instructions on tube. Look for rearveiw mirror adhesive in adhesive area.
There should be one torx screw on the bottom side of the mirror bracket, remove it and slide the mirror up, if the whole mirror has fallen off go to a parts store and they will have a kit to glue the windshield mount back on, then slide the mirror back on.
