I would get a special glue its made for putting stuff on glass u can probanly find it at wallie world
Get some rear view mirror glue from target and glue the plate to the window. Make sure the tapered edge tapers into the window. If you glue it on wrong you can always buy another plate and glue that to the first but you will feel pretty stupid. Then slide the mirror on the plate.
