You can remove the motor mount and roll the engine froward or get an socket wrench and a long extension and spark plug socket will do the trick very tight squeeze but is possible with out removing anything at all
Any platinum plug. You will need to gap them properly, or buy plugs specifically gapped for the particular engine. You auto parts store can help.
The only way to change the plugs is to remove the top cover first. Then remove the cover for each plug.
In a Mercury Sable V6 : firewall 1-----2-----3 4-----5-----6 front of vehicle > driver
According to one of Fords websites : For a 1992 Mercury Sable : The 3.8 liter V6 engine has spark plugs gapped at ( .054 inch ) The website does not show the 3.0 spark plug gap
