If they think you are at a friends house then your good but I wouldn't recommend staying home. Its too risky. So say you are going to a friends house and sleeping over. I think that would work. It has in the past for me . Just make sure that your parents don't contact that friend.

If they want to drive you to the party; set a time for you to be home and pick you up then accept their offer without argument and, in time they will feel more relaxed about you going to parties. If the friend that has asked you to the party is secretly having the party while their parents are away then you should not go.
