To do so press the 'start' button, Then the options are here where you can exit; you can either exit and save or exit without save. Also in the start menu you can edit settings and also change your skin.
Either press escape while in game and go to save and quit, or just start up minecraft without choosing a world.
Go to the settings menu and search!
You go to your run bar in your start menu, and type in %appdata% then there should be a folder named .minecraft, if you go into that there will be a screenshots folder.
Go to start menu, type in %appdata%, if there is ".minecraft" when you search, then you can. Anyways, why using demo?

You might have deleted the nessescary files to run minecraft. Go to options on the startup menu and press force update/
Click start, type %appdata%, click on roaming, .minecraft, then texturepacks. Or, go on minecraft, go to the main menu, click on texture packs and click open texture pack folder.
go to "run" on start menu- type in "%appdata%" (no quotes) then see where u put it!
To make a LAN server, there should be a button in the menu. The join, you go the the multiplayer button in the main menu. If there are any that you can join, it will tell you.
It might not download because your bin file is corrupt. To fix this go to your .minecraft folder and delete the bin file in it. If you don't know how to get to your .minecraft all you need to do is run "run" (in your start menu) and type inand then find your .minecraft file.
You just need to get the server IP, then on your minecraft main menu go to Multiplayer>Direct Connect And enter the IP Check out the official minecraft forums for server ips depending on the type of server you want to play on.

To exit the menu press escape. (ESC)
