you can only grab small enemies (grublins), on the Xbox 360 press B when close to an enemy then you have 3 options:
tap X repeatedly to smash the enemy on the ground from side to side
tap Y repeatedly to spin the enemy round and round
press A to go up in the air with it and then either tap X to hit the enemy a few times before landing back on the ground or tap Y to spin the enemy around in the air before slamming it down on the ground.

Grubins will soon pop out of the ground but keep turning it until one of them hits you, fight them, and kill them. then continue turhing the wheel. Then the pool is filled with water so go around the other corner and go to a lever by a gate you come across and push it, then grab the buckets ( both Spyro and Cynder need one) ignor the grublins that pop from the ground by flying over them and take the buckets over the pool to get to the water fly over it and then to the burning building and repeat prosess until finished

i have it on wii so i will telll you how i would do it use cynder of spyro and go in the middle of the raft were the little bars are and press a and b, but it may be 2 different buttons for you but i should come up when you reach the middle of the rarft if you have used cynder for the raft then play spyro and fly in the air which will move the raft, but make sure cynder stays down on the bars. For PS2, use Cynder or Spyro and grab the bars in the middle of the raft with the O button. Then use L2 to switch to the other character and pull the raft upriver using the green magic chain. How do get past Twilight Waterfalls on Spyro Dawn of the Dragon?
To get through Twilight Falls, first you have to fly out of that cave over the waterfall. You might want to fly around a bit to collect crystals and armor. Then fly over to where Hunter is, and some enemies will appear and try to kill you. Once they're dead, go over to the log thing and push it over. Then, walk/fly to the cliff with green stuff on it. Grab onto the lowest one and climb up it. Using the dragon that isn't on the wall, swing around and grab a higher climbing area. Then switch back and use THAT dragon to swing up onto a cliff. Switch back AGAIN to climb the rest of the way up. The last thing you need to do is talk to Hunter to leave.

How do you pass the dam in the Legend of Spyro Dawn of the Dragon?
You need to go all the way to the right side of the dam and use Cynder's shadow power to get under the gate. Hit the switch and open the gate. Then grab the orb, just one, for now. Go the the left and smash the gem crates. Use the vines on the side with the dragon NOT carrying the orb. Run along the wall the the left to the other vines. Once you get on the long vertical vine, climb all the way to the top, then switch to the dragon carrying the orb and get them to grab on to the vine. Get them both onto the platform at the top then drop down to put it into the dam. Get one of the dragons to grab on the thing that you unlocked, then use the other dragon to fly toward the camera and pull it out. Now for the left side, you have to go back and get the other orb. Then fly all the way to the other side of the left part of the dam. Use the vines again with the dragon NOT carrying the orb. Same thing on this side. Get them both to the top, then drop down and drop the orb onto the button. Now you go into the middle and use the elevator to go all the way to the top.. and that's where I am stuck. So you are on your own now. Hope this helped.

you get every manna or life upgrades and blue spirit gems you may have missed and go to the left side of the rampart and try to find a stair case and go down it. shater the blue spirit gems and get spyro's armor you find and climb the vines to a section where you can glide down to another section use thoose vines and you have to fight a troll by using spyro's lighting bolt and strong attacks but before you do use cynder's shadow strike to slip under the gate by a stair case and shatter the blue spirit gem and once the troll dies you relight the toches with fire and fight the crossbow orcs and grublins but be quick!!! Take any opertunity you get to grab the door and shut it as fast as you can! then once it's closed get the armor cheast at the end of the area then head right back to the door to shut it again until the fire closes the door, then it's on to attack of the Golem level!
