A motor is grounded with a lug in the motor's junction box. The ground wire in the supply cable is connected to this point. This lug grounds the whole motor frame so if a fault to ground occurs, the fault current will return to the distribution panel where the motor's supply breaker will trip and open the circuit.
Check to see if you are getting power and ground to motor - if so and motor does not work- bad motor
I have an air bubble in my in ground swimming pool system.......how does one get the air out. ? Can you open top off motor when running motor to add water to prime motor???
Use a jumper wire from the battery + (pos) terminal to the positive on the blower motor, and run a - (Ground) wire from ground on the motor, to chassis or frame.
With rubber motor mounts.
Disconnect wires from motor and check to see if you have power and ground going to motor--if so motor is bad if not have to check wiring and switch to that motor
If you have checked and the blower motor has both power and ground then the motor is bad.........
To wire a toggle switch to your wiper motor, first, identify the motor's power and ground terminals. Connect one terminal of the toggle switch to the power supply and the other terminal to the wiper motor's power terminal. Then, connect the ground terminal of the motor to the vehicle's chassis or a suitable ground point. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated to prevent short circuits.
In a three phase motor each leg (3 phases) in the down cycle alternating at 1/60 per second servers as a neutral, you are only required to ground (green) the frame of the motor for safety. This is similar In a single phase motor wired for 240v (2 phases) the same thing happens and you are only required to ground (green) the frame of the motor for safety. From: Ken F
Not with the wheels on the ground. Not with the wheels on the ground.
Remove the door panel and check for power and ground at the motor connector. If you have both power and ground the motor has failed.
It sounds as if you have either a power or ground problem at the motor.
Run a new one from the blower motor body to ground
