First off, make sure you do not open the bottle until you are 100% ready for the experiment. You need to keep all of the carbonation and pressure inside the bottle. Just make sure that you wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Diet Coke works best for this experiment. If you want to do other mini experiments then you can try using any other porous candy like altoids or even alka seltzer if you wanted to.
