when the kids are around, do your best to hide it from them but if they are 11 years old or older just tell them what happened but if they are younger than that it is best to just leave them out of it. if you have friends, hang out with them and explain what happened. i am sure they will help you with your kids while your are recovering. and if you have nobody to go to then, hang in there
