Well, the Transformers are Aliens. But, I don't thinks what you are asking.In truth, the Transformers started off as a toy. So, going by that, they are in fact NOT solely Japanese. They are manufactured by Hasbro, who is a US-based toy company. Now, that is not saying a Japanese person didn't design it or whatnot because it turns out that Transformers were originally created by a Japanese company named Takara Tomy.They were called Diaclone and Microman.So, in a sense, Transformers are Japanese-American.
