I would probably say it would be okay. I started playing the sims when I was eight. It can be a little innapropriate but for the most part it is just building a house and living a life. It kind of depends on which expansion pack[s] you get. I love the sims and I am goiong to buy all of the games. Unfortunately, you can't actually build stairs/upstairs for the sims on ps2 :'( get the sims 3 or the sims 2 (computer version(s)) to do this. Both work on pc, but only sims 3 works on mac :)
