That is actually quite a complicated question to answer. I am assuming that your partner has the ability to hear? It just depends on the genes that are dominant when the sperm and egg merge. A friend of mine is deaf and her daughter has full hearing abilities. It is possible but if the gene that causes the mother to be deaf is dominant over the gene that allows a person to be able to hear then the child will be deaf.
