The object of Counterfeit Island is to stop thieves from stealing a priceless painting.
Part of the island involves the French language, as when you meet a woman and her son in the Countryside. She says (in French) that her son wants a green balloon. (You can translate this with the page from the French-English dictionary at the internet Cafe.) Go to the Clown Store and get him a green balloon.
*You do not have to do anything else with them, as dealing with the consequences isn't part of the game.
Go on www.youtube.com, search in counterfeit island walkthrough. It might help.
