Actually, if you right click after the friends comment, you will have the opportunity to hide the application, or hide the friend.
If you have to hide them, then they probably should not be on your friends list.

∙ 14y agoYou can't hide anyone...The only thing you can do is delete them then re-add them when you feel it is safe...But if you message them you message stays on your screen so, in other words...Be honest and not sneaky lol...

∙ 13y agoGo To Your Profile And Your Friends The Press The Pencil Icon And " Change Visibility Settings" Will Show And Click It And Go To "See My Friends List " And It Should Say Everyone And Click It And Click Customize , "Make this visible to" Will Show And Press The Drop Down Menu And The Last One Will Be "ONLY ME" The Save

∙ 10y agoIn order to hide one's friends on Facebook one must click on the ' friends' tab in one's Facebook profile and then click on 'edit' in the upper-right corner. A pop-up screen will open by which one can change the visibility of one's friends. Select 'Only Me' and one's friends will be only visible to the owner of the profile.
