no no that other guy is wrong if the guitar is wireless there is a fully white peice that plugs in the back and that's the wireless connectory
just when you plug it in hit the sync button on the wii and guitar or bass

no you need the wireless connector it looks like a little square box with a usb wire coming out of it it should come in the rock band box then click the sync button on the wii and the little button on the guitar note:on the guitar you must press the guitar sync button 3-4 times this method will also work for electric guitar for rock band
