The most humane way to kill a fish is with carbonated water. The carbonation in the water renders the fish sleepy before the lack of oxygen molecules destroy the fish. I read that in a book years ago when I kept an aquarium.. so all you fisherman out there bring a bottle of pop on your next boating trip. No need to make your dinner suffer.
Off with the head! Some people advise placing the fish in a container then into a freezer in the belief that the fish will go into a stupour and die painlessly. Having experienced extreme cold myself I find that theory very hard to believe. If I HAVE TO destroy a fish, then I dash/slam/throw it with all my strength onto a hard surface. Usually a concrete floor.
OPTIONS
1. take the fish bowl and throw it on the toilet and flush it and say goodbye. 2. cut it with a knife
3. throw it on the floor without water
put it in the freezer in a cup of water
it might mean but its actually quite humane
put it in a dfferent bowl without a filter and just let it die peacefully or just flush it down the toilet
Flush it down the toilet. Or simply take it out of the water.
Goldfish have such a fragile existence and live such short lives, why not let it live out its life to a natural demise?
Flush it down the toilet... :}
stab it
who on this earth would humanly kill a goldfish or any animal
Beta fish do NOT like other fish, they may try to kill the other fish or get seriously injured by the other fish.So probably not.
If your betta is ill and you have not been able to treat it, the most humane method is using clove oil. You may be able to get clove oil at a local store.
It is possible that the other fish injured the subject fish, BUT IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE that the fish with the "hole" had a skin infection which killed the tissue, and as the dead [necrotic] tissue decomposed it "washed away," leaving the hole.
No, they are both aggressive/semi-aggressive fish so if they were in the same tank there is a high possibility one would get injured or die
Yes, chlorine can kill fish. Fish can swallow it. Yes, chlorine can kill fish. Fish can swallow it. Yes, chlorine can kill fish. Fish can swallow it.
After a certain number of days or if it is to aggressive to get adopted they will humanly be put asleep.
its obviously fish kill means dead fish ..
Fish kill means fish creek simply means die-off of the fish
The adverb form of "human" is "humanly."
no a water pump can not kill a fish
well not exactly if you want to kill your other fish then........sure! why not? if love your fish, why kill it?
