The original Sony Ericsson models usually have a 'w.' above the keypad. Also at the top of the mobile there should be a 'sony ericsson' sign and it should be spelt the correct way - Sony Ericsson.
Also on the left side of the phone there should be 'walkman' if it's a Walkman Mobile.
Also, if it's the original then it should be bought from a well known mobile shop and you can also double check with the staff at the shop if it is the original.

∙ 14y agoFind the Serial number, Usually Under the Battery (open the phone and remove the battery) there are several numbers there typically.
If you then Contact Sony Ericsson Customer service in your country (1.866.766.9374 is the U.S. Number - get other country numbers from their website), you can give them the serial number and they can verify that your phone is original (or not) -- you may need to give them some of the other numbers (like the IMEI Number) for them to fully Verify the phone is Authentic.
