I used to work in Mortgage Broking, believe it or not, no one wants a mortgage. As soon as they get on all they talk about is how to pay it off.

Insurance is much the same way, no body wants it, they see it as an expense. What they really want it to protect their asset.

What ever insurance you specialize in, find that asset and align yourself with the business that provides that asset. If its life insurance, they want to protect their spouse, so when they get married or even better when they have kids, the feeling is the strongest.

Set some goals for the amount of prospects you want to talk to per month, then break it down to weekly then daily goals.

Set Yes goals as well as No goals, what I mean is if you talk to 10 people and 3 say Yes, and 7 say No, then go out their and collect 7 Nos and don't stop even if you get your 3 x Yes's up front.
