YOU don't infect other computers with viruses.

Bacteriophages are viruses that infect bacteria.
The operating system that most if not all viruses are made for is Windows. Since Windows was the first operating system built and most people own a Windows operating computer, then won't you think most viruses will target and infect Windows computers? Mac and Unix computers generally won't acquire viruses since not much of them are written for their platforms.
You are ruining an experience for others with computers.
viruses are specific to the cells they infect called host cells
Caulimoviridea are retro viruses that infect plants.
It depends on what kind of virus. Viruses can infect any cell in the human body. Viruses such as HIV infect the immune system; air-born viruses, such as H1N1 or a cold, infect the respiratory system; neurological viruses, like rabies infect the brain (the virus is usually carried to it by peripheral nerves); and viruses like polio effect the nervous system, which can create paralysis.
Viruses only infect living organisms and since they are not alive, they can not infect other viruses. The question is interesting though.
A computer virus is a harmful computer program that someone has written either as a practical joke or for criminal purposes. A computer virus can be transmitted from one computer to another computer, but it cannot infect a person. The viruses that infect people are something else entirely. So a computer cannot give you viruses. Not unless you are a cyborg.
Computer viruses aren't living things. These are pieces of mal-ware created by humans to infect computers with infectiousness software. They cannot harm you in any way, but can destroy a computer.
