How about checking the fuel pump relay and fuse to be sure they are both getting 12 volts. Fuse #1 is 25 amps on the 740 and controls the pumps. The fuel pump relay is in the second row on the left side of the relay rack, the big white one. My advice: Keep spares on all relays and fuses.
