No one answer is correct as each scooter may be different. On my scooter I have a box built into the floorboard with a waterproof cover held in place with two screws. Below the cover is the sealed lead/acid cell and the fuses for the scooter along with spare fuses.
No, you cannot.
Yes, if you have a 12 volt battery and/or a charging system to support it.
Install a 3 volt battery and forget any modifications. It will not operate on 12 volts.
If your cart has 4, 12 volt batteries in series to make up the 48 volts, just connect the 12 volt lights across one of the batteries.
As long as it is a 12 volt battery you can if you set the charger on low.
I would not I would buy a 12 volt charger and plug it in for a day
These scooters use sealed lead acid batteries. The battery is a 12-volt unit and is usually 12 amp-hours, and the scooter uses a pair of them in series to drive the 24-volt motor. Under best conditions, you can get them to cycle a few hundred times before you have to replace them, and they cost about $20 to $25 each online.

red wire goes to 12 volt when key is on,black to ground, blue to either 12 volt key on or it really needs to tie into light switch because that is what it is for and the green wire goes to negative side of your coil
Scooter is 12 years old. scooter is 14 years old
No. You need 12 volt AC to run a 12 volt AC motor, not 12 volt DC.
