remove the fan shroud the motor mount bolts, the torque bars from the tranny to engine then the 2 bolts that hold in the oil filter mount. the lower bell housing needs to be removed as well to access the back of the oil pan. the motor must be raised about 4 inches to allow the front of the pan to move. then remove the pan and there are 4 bolts and the pump and shaft come out at the same time. buy a hv pump and replace the stock shaft with the replacement with the steel shaft instead of the one with the nylon colar, Good luck! i did mine on saturday, it took a couple hours.
