it requires you to have a special tool so you can insert it into the tensioner to release the tension on the belt and make it easy to remove and install, may take a little muscle. once you pull it back hold it and put the belt over the special tool and let it slide down the tool to install it, if you let it go youre going to have hell trying to get it back.
