Are you asking about the CHAIN that turn the chute from left to right?? There is a ~1/16" cable that wraps around the base of the chute and then goes down into the machine behind the impeller. Please see a couple of posts in the Group dedicated to the Snowbird snow blowers in Yahoo Groups. A couple of the members there have disassembled their machines to get at that area and have shared detailed instructions on how to do it. I am into doing the cable repair thing and am having trouble getting the split pin out of the impeller/shaft.
