most need a tool or you can sometimes get lucky and use a coathanger make two forks that will fit into the two holes on both sides of radio they may catch the clips inside if you do the radio will pull strate out tward you. do your self a favor and if installing a after market radio pick up one of those pig tail addaptor things and all you have to do is plug it into the factory wareing will save you alot of trouble later.
