The Mazda tachometer and the speedometer have separate cables. The tachometer cable probably does not work properly. Change the tachometer cable.
Remove the instrument panel cover. Remove the tachometer retaining screws. Remove the tachometer cable from the back of the tachometer. Reverse the process to install the new tachometer.
If you have the standard 1995 Mazda MX6 then it came OE with P195/65R14... I hope this has helped. COO of TireTyre.com
mine slipped on the timing belt itself so check the timing first then work the fuses and then use a tachometer on the ignition coil if not it you might have a fried motor man
3 bolts on distributor, take off valve cover 13 mm on distributor 12 or 11 mm on cover
think its in the gas tank but doing that repair calls for a chilton manual buy the chilton no haynes they suck....
stock wheels on the first gen mx6 is +44 for the 15x6 wheels.
if motor is in place use a jackstand and jack up from either the downpipe or under the oil pan use a piece of wood in between though then install....
