Where is the thermostat housing located on a 1991 Oldsmobile 88 Royale?

Oh, dude, the thermostat housing on a 1991 Oldsmobile 88 Royale is like that one friend who always hides in plain sight. So, if you're looking for it, just follow the hose and you'll find it chilling there, doing its thermostat thing.

Where is the Transmission Dipstick for a 1988 Mazda MX6 Located?

Oh, dude, the transmission dipstick for a 1988 Mazda MX6 is typically located near the back of the engine bay, close to the firewall. It's usually a bright color like yellow or red because apparently, they want you to find it or something. Just look for a long, skinny stick that's probably covered in oily gunk – that's your ticket to checking your transmission fluid levels.

Where is the fuel pressure outlet to check for fuel pressure on a 1993 Mazda mx6?

On a 1993 Mazda MX6, the fuel pressure outlet is typically located on the fuel rail. The fuel rail is a cylindrical metal component that distributes fuel to the fuel injectors. To check the fuel pressure, you would need to connect a fuel pressure gauge to the Schrader valve on the fuel rail. This valve is similar to the valve on a tire and allows for easy connection of the pressure gauge.

Where is oxygen sensor bank 2 sensor 1 on a 97 Mazda mx6?

In a 1997 Mazda MX-6, the oxygen sensor bank 2 sensor 1 is typically located on the exhaust manifold of the engine. This sensor is responsible for monitoring the oxygen levels in the exhaust gases and sending this information to the engine control unit for optimal fuel-air mixture adjustments. To locate the specific sensor, you may need to follow the exhaust manifold from the engine block towards the exhaust pipe.

How do you read the dipstick for the transmission on a 1993 Mazda mx6 with v6?

Oh, honey, it's simple. First, make sure your car is on a level surface and warmed up. Pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it fully, then pull it out again to check the fluid level. The markings on the dipstick will tell you if you're good to go or if it's time to top up. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

How do you reset the timing on a Mazda mx-6?

Well, darling, to reset the timing on a Mazda MX-6, you'll need to locate the timing marks on the crankshaft pulley and camshaft sprocket, and align them according to the manufacturer's specifications. You may need to remove some parts to access these marks, so roll up your sleeves and get ready to get your hands dirty. If you're not comfortable doing this yourself, it's best to leave it to a professional mechanic who knows their way around a car better than you know your way around a gossip session.

Where are the Mazda 1993 mx6 air conditioning values Which one is high and which one is low pressure Can I convert to R134a?

The high-pressure port for the air conditioning system in a Mazda 1993 MX6 is typically located near the receiver/dryer. The low-pressure port is usually located on the suction line near the compressor. How do you change the water pump on a 1993 Mazda MX6?

This takes moderate skill and you will want to replace your timing belt and your tensioner at the same time. The reason to replace both of these is that they are prone to failure and you will have them off anyway.

Remove coolant from bottom of radiator petcock. remove shroud and radiator.

remove fan clutch and fan. remove acessory belts. remove timing cover and thermo housing.

you will now see the timing belt going over the idler, cams, water pump and crank pully.

put the #1 piston at top dead center and your two cam pulleys and crank pulley should be at the marks corresponding to the block. mark them loudly anyways so you can see them better. try real hard not to move these three.

loosen tensioner and remove belt. unbolt water pump, cleanup face and install new one.

reverse order assembly. make absolutely sure your cams and crank are in the correct relationship when the belt goes on. It is a good idea to replace the front seal too since you are into it this far.

I left out some minor details but you'll figure it out or you shouldn't be doing this.

How do you get a ABS light to go off on a Mazda MX-6?

the light is on for a reason first i would have someone hook up to it with a scanner to find out why it is on. the light could come on by a abs sensor going bad, abs moudle going bad, so you need to find out why it is on, then have them take it out with the scanner. abs is a code and fro some reason it has kicked the light on, so to be safe have it checked out.

After the correct repairs have been done, the light will turn itself off after a short drive.

What could be the problem with a 1995 Mazda mx6 not starting?

I just had this problem with my son's 1996 Miata this past weekend. After checking the battery to make sure it had a full charge I tried to start it again. Finally, in frustration, I jammed the clutch pedal nearly to the floor, and the engine turned over. All this time I hadn't pushed to clutch pedal in enough to let the car start. This could be your problem too. It's a start, anyway.

Where is the fuel filter on a 1989 Mazda MX6?

On my 2.2L Auto tranny 89 MX6, The inline fuel filter is on the firewall next to the brake master cyinder (drivers side). It is very easy to get to and change, I wish all cars were as easy! The mx6 shares most of its guts with the ford probe, try searching probe websites and enthusiast clubs. It's not "in-tank" that I know, it's most likely under the car between the tank and fuel rail, but not accessible in the engine bay. More than likely under some sort of cover?? Get your car up on axle stands and trace fuel line from tank to engine and it'll be there somewhere! Hope that helps.
