This is a real headache because you need to get those pesky rivits out CHISLE, DRILL what ever it takes First of all you need replacement bolts and nuts. Pull that insulation downward to get it out the way. disconnect the window from the channel there should be two screws in a plactic connector (WHITE) I think it's a (9 or 10 mm screw) next disconnected to the drive belt in the channel once you get that loose push the window all the way up and use a screwdriver to hold the window up in place.Try not to move the belt too far out of whack; There is also a screw on the motor with another white connecor that needs to be unscrewed ARE we having fun yet because were not finished yet replacement is in reverse Before you screw anything together make sure the motor works
i need a diagram to install a window motor on a 1980 gmc truck
Will a 95 cheve 1500 back windo fit a 97 cheve 1500 truck
First, take a socket wrench to remove the cover of the blower motor of a 1993 Chevy truck. Then pull the motor blower out and install a new one in its place. Lastly, screw the bolts of the blower motor cover back in.
Chassis Engineering Inc has a kit to install a motor, transmission and rear end into a 1951 chev truck.
1. Remove door panel, and disconnect the door harness. 2. Unbolt window from the rail, remove the window from the door. 3. Unbolt old motor and remove. 4. Using a window motor tool, (if you don't use one you could risk having the lifting frame on the motor uncoil and injure your hand or wrist), remove the motor from the lifting frame. 5. Using the supplied hardware install the new motor into the frame. 6. Install new motor in the door. 7. Reinstall the glass. 8. Reconnect the harness.(make sure window works) 9. Reinstall the door panel.
